The Plaza Hotel is a legendary and iconic building and a National Historic Landmark. Built in 1907, it was then known as the greatest hotel in the world and arguably still is. The 182 private residence condos have a separate entrance on Central Park South and have their own private European-inspired garden. Private terraces and “Juliet” balconies overlook the garden with a cascading water feature to add to its genteel yet grand ambiance.
Model residences are furnished with Versace Home Collection design. All homes have high ceilings with period moldings and mantelpieces. Floors are walnut-bordered herringbone parquet and were designed to reflect original mosaic patterns found in the Plaza’s lobbies. In some units, fittings and finishings in the baths have the “Double P” insignia and all are crafted by Kohler and Lefroy Brooks.
